Do not allow the media to select our next president.
Didn't we learn in 2000? Has the last eight years taught us nothing?
Gravel has spoken the truth, and because of that he is hated and has been denied his voice.
Don't let the media and elites get away with this gross act.

I think it's going to be Clinton, Giuliani, or Romney. The only way Clinton can win is if she picks Obama as her running mate, otherwise she won't get enough votes. If not for his pro-choice position, I would say Giuliani would be the Republican nominee. Because of that, I think both him and Romney have a chance.
Ron Paul isn't known well enough. Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich are so far to the left they are falling off the scale. This is a center-right nation, they have no chance. John McCain has become too liberal. He could never get the nomination because many Republicans and independent conservatives won't vote for him. Con Edwards is a scumbag.

If it was someone who fit the public's majority opinions on health, education, the war in Iraq, the enviornment and fair trade, it'd be John Edwards or Dennis Kucinich, But that doesn't happen in this country anymore. The media chooses who will be president by not allowing anyone with ideas that run counter to their advertisers to have anything but random exposure. Ron Paul would be the Republican choice on most of these issues... but he's facing the same problem.
I havne't heard any of the candidates views on Viet Nam.

My gut feeling is that we will have a Democrat for a President and that it will be Hillary Clinton, however that would not be my first choice. I think that the only candidate that even poses a threat (right or left) is Barack Obama, who is my 1st choice.
As for a foreign policy for Viet Nam, I would have to express my sincere apologies when I say that I am not sure Viet Nam would even be on the political radar of any president we elect in 2008. We have our quagmires called Iraq and Afghanistan and we have our own domestic issues which have been forgotten for far too long. Our war on terror will last until at least the end of the decade whether we have a dem. or a rep. in office just because of the logistical nightmare we would create if we left now. We are still cleaning up after Katrina. Our economy is becoming more fragile as the days go by and yet we still have a government that continues to be fiscally irresponsible. And last but not least we have a health care fiasco that will soon become a national disaster. I wouldn't worry about any future president's foreign policy plans for Viet Nam, and neither should you.

Mitt Romney, I hope. What the hell does Viet Nam have to do with this election? Apparently you know nothing about Viet Nam, or probably the Era. Half the social acceptance today, wasn't even thought of back then. So deal with today, and let go of back then, or it will come back and haunt you.

Well, i would have to save Mike Gravel or Ron Paul, its pretty obvious the media wants up to focus on Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Edwards. I wonder if people realize why that is. Just think about it. Why would you want Clinton? She's just more of the same!! We dont need the Clintons in office anymore! We need a gosh darn change! I wish people would realize this. It really really scares me. Barack Obama goes back on his word. You know who hasn't gone back on their word and is straight to the point? Mike Gravel. He is the only one who is straight to the point .. no bull spit!
AMERICANS! Watch the debates, ALL of the debates, online, then you'll know. Do not listen to the tv. Its run by the government. Don't you realize WE NEED CHANGE! No more Bush's, No more Clintons. Clinton and Edwards are tight, that should scare you! Clinton and Edwards were caught on tape, by the news, plotting against Dennis and Gravel. You really want someone like that running our beautiful country?
Watching the debates is like watching a comedy show. Thats all Clinton, Edwards and Obama can do, laugh, joke, laugh, joke! Do you see any of that from Dennis, Gravel or Ron Paul?? NO! I will admitt Ron Paul is pretty iffy on his answers but Gravel isn't. Just like "Buckeyes Chargers" said.
VOTE SMART!

I predict Obama will be Hillary's VP candidate before its over, and Hillary may be the first female president...I'm kind of hoping Obama or Edwards pull a miracle and get the Democratic nomination, but its gonna be tough...
