Well i'm 16 weeks with my 4th child and i have 3 girls already and we don't know what the baby is yet. I will admit i have read every wives tale on this subject but i will tell you how i was with all 3 of my girls. With each of them i was rounded across ways rather than out in my tummy. I also LOVED sweets like choc cake ect........ I had no morning sickness at all, a slight touch of heart burn and intergestion but nothing really. But with this pregnancy i have been nauseas (never vomited) but wanted to a fue times, i've also been suffering very bad headaches, i have a little tummy that sticks out but i can still see my hip bones and have not put any weight on my hips. To look at me front on in the mirror i look like i swallowed a small basketball!!!! Also this time my gums occasionally bleed, i'm craving lots of cheese and tomatoes and salads...I've never really liked salad so i don't know why i'm eating it like a crazy woman. Well we will have to wait 3 weeks until i have my ultrasound to determine the sex of my baby but these have been my personal experiences, and i will admit that some of them do co-inside with the old wives tales. Write back with all of your symptoms and i'll give you my thoughts on what you are having!!! Have fun....

I have heard the old wives tale that if you put a needle on a fairly long piece of thread and hold it above the mothers abdomen, it will start to move. If it goes in a circle it will be a girl and if it swings back and forth it will be a boy.

My cravings were onions and pastry stuff and a savory food apparently means a boy.
these are what I had for a boy:
The chinese luna calendar was right .
The carrying low.
Carying weight in the belly.
Not much chest development
No morning sickness
Feet were colder than before pregnancy
They are all old wives tales.

well, it's not really an old wives tale, but the chinese astrology charts of gender prediction told me i was having a boy last time and it was right. i'm 11 weeks along with #2 and it says we're having a girl so we'll see... that would be great too!

My answer isn't for exciting yet for actual. while i grow to be pregnant, i wanted a woman badly, yet an old woman instructed me that i might have a boy, via shape of my abdomen, and he or she grow to be ultimate. As you have probable observed, boys and men have pointed bottoms whilst women and girls have around bottoms. while the toddler is mendacity interior the traditional place till now delivery, the backside factors upward. Have a powerful seem at any visibly pregnant woman and additionally you would be waiting to ascertain no remember if that backside is pointed or around. I even have carried out so because of the fact that I gave delivery in 1964, and my predictions have been ultimate a hundred% of the time, merely as grow to be the prediction which that old woman in Vancouver grow to be forty 4 years in the past.

If you carry low, it's a boy; high, it's a girl.
If you carry in front, it's a boy; if you're wide at the middle, it's a girl.
Hang your wedding ring from a strand of the father's hair over your belly. If the ring circles, it's girl; if it swings back and forth, it's a boy.
Is Baby's heart beat faster than 140 beats per minute (bpm)? It's a girl. Less than 130 bpm? It's a boy.
If morning sickness lingers all day, it's a girl.

A couple that I know are ;
1. If you are getting larger and rounder up front, its a girl. Baby boys are flatter , pointier and they weight is centered on your hips.
2. If you crave salty snacks, its a boy, sweet things and sour things, girl.
