I didn't/don't have too many rules, so I didn't have too many to think were stupid and unfair. My parents give me more freedom than I would give my kids. I guess that's why I'm a pretty good kid, my parents didn't pressure me into NOT doing things. I was always taught right from wrong, so I know what to do and what not to do. I think they did the right thing too, I'll always come to them if I ever do something wrong and need help.

..... there were a lot of rules that i thought were stupid and unfair........ but i always obeyed. Sometimes i'd say i wasn't going to listen and do what i wanted, but in the end, i always obeyed........

i think i only ever broke a few rules that my parents set in place, but i always felt super guilty...... and always confessed immediatly once questioned about it ..... lol, didn't give up the info voluntarily.... but if mom (or dad) asked, i told the truth. and i always accepted the consequences, not blaming others for my own foolish actions. that didnt make the punishment any "lighter", or eaiser to deal with... but i always accepted responsibilty when and where i was wrong. And i never lied my way out of trouble, or blame shift.

..... kinda boring, i know, lol but...... its the truth.

I thought alot of the rules my parents made were unfair....The one I hated the most was " keep your door open when you have friends in your room"!!!
I felt stupid and never really had anyone over when I was younger

my brothers were aloud to car date loooong before I was. I thought that was insane but as a result both of my brothers had children out of wedlock and my husband was the first man that I had ever been with. My mom was protecting me, and I know that now although I still think she should have been a little stricter on the boys as well!!!

Yes. "Your opinion doesn't count because you're too young."
