I'm one of those that does not have a great imagination. Watching cartoons is not the answer. I grew up watching cartoons and it didn't help me at all. I do have a good sense of humor though! I think it's a combination of genetics and upbringing. Please don't hate me for my lack of imagination.

I don't lack imagination. I get a good daily dosage of animated humour, with enough crazy cartoon credibilty to warp reality for a long time.

Yes, imagination, like other skills, must be practiced, reinforced, modeled and reshaped and defined. It is rare for anyone to go through that trouble now days. Even in our schools, conformity is the norm. That is why arts and music education are so important to keep for our young people.

Imagination is something that needs to be encouraged and nurtured. It also needs room to breath so to speak, one of the most creative times in my life was when I was locked in a basement for six months with no t.v. or radio.

Yes...... the inventive mind requires certain processing that not all people possess... like some people can run math algorithms instantaneously....very logical but not necessarily
