Wow! I just watched the video of the news in the link you have here! I'm so very sorry for your loss! I realize these are just words to you, but I do believe everyone that has answered this question feels what they are saying to you; just as I do.
And to answer your question, I have a cell phone but I do not read or send text messages while I'm driving.
I have a headset for handsfree when I am using the phone in the car. I don't take my hands off the wheel for something as inconsequential as a phone since a car can be such a deadly weapon. When I'm driving, I take it seriously and pay attention to what's going on around me.

I am sorry for your loss I live in the Phoenix area and I remember this story. I use to text when I was stopped at a light but now I don't even talk on the phone because of this story.I will have a moment of silence for your lost loved one. May you keep your head high and remember the times the two of you had together. She should always be in your heart and soul.

No I don't and I give my wife hell, about just talking on the cell while driving.
My daughter ran off the road about 5 months ago while texting, luckily she only had to replace her ball joints, She doesn't text as much, I wish she'd stop period, but she acts like she's invincible.

I'm so sorry for you loss...I wish I could give you a big hug!
Personally, I don't. My ex does (and at night) and scares the poop out of me. I will pass the story on to him.

sure. Now i does not recommend doing that on the line yet on an usual 35mph highway, its high quality. in some circumstances i additionally will do it at 40mph yet i'd purely recommend this in the adventure that your delicate in the back of the wheel!

I've heard the warnings on TV and stress it so much to my kids! Kids text more than anyone, and it scares me to death!
