We are born innocent, have the capacity to love and become wise through learning and life's experiences. Life can beat them out of you, but I have become better due to all of life's ups and downs. Here is where being wise comes in... I don't let life beat them out of me. I have become more loving because it makes me a better person. That is wise. The only thing I'm not anymore is innocent. You can't stay innocent and become wise.

I don't think we are born wise, wisdom is something you gain as you age and the light goes on, and you say Oh yeah...now I get it. I do believe that most of us given the right circumstances are born loving and innocent, and naive. And then life happens and screws us over. Some can rebound from adversity and stay just as loving and naive, others learn from the experience and become a little wary of anything that sounds too good to be true. Still others slip into the dark pits of despair and wallow in the misery of life being unfair. It is up to you to choose the path to take.

That would be better than never have being infinitely wise, loving and innocent. At least with that theory I have the comfort that it's not my own fault that I am a little messed up.

We are born innocent! Even the loving part comes from bonding and nourishment to the soul! The wise part comes from experience!
Life does beat that out of us !
.. The sadness comes from a life of struggle, loss, hate and fear.

We are definitely born loving and innocent, but isn't the definition of wisdom "having had life beat the crap out of you and learned from it"? In which case, I am very, very wise. *Sighs*

Sheeze...sometimes I really do think so. Especially in the loving and innocent areas...they sure do take a beating from life...
...ok...now you gotta ask a question that'll make me laugh, since this one was a real downer...
(kidding, btw...)

Not always, I mean, I am all those things after a few beers. You are still that way too, when your not exterminating things. You just gotta pick your moments.
