SEC is hot right now, but the BIG 10 have been dominant for a long time, the BIG 10 seem to have a couples of teams that dominated the whole conference. And the pecking order are always Michigan, Penn St. and Ohio St. are on top of the conference no matter what era it is. They gets the best recruit every year between the 3 schools but once in a while the others school in the BIG 10 will rise for a couples year but will fade out again.

I am from WI and have been a Badger fan for my entire life, but it is hard to look past the butt kicking the Gators put on the Buckeyes this past year. It is hard to say which conference is going to be better this year because while many people thing the Big Ten will choke, I think the SEC is always overrated. I'm sure people disagree but if you take any Big Ten team against any Sec team I think the bad Big Ten teams will do better then the bad Sec teams. Just look at the Badgers the last two years. No one gave them a chance and they have won the last Capital One bowls, both against Sec teams. Its a giant toss up, and mostly a matter of opinion.

You must have been asleep for the past few years. Start looking past Michigan and Wisconsin this year and see how badly Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, and Purdue are going to suck this year, and many of those schools have for a number of years.
