How do you not use economics?

i need help finding out how to not use economics for a whole day that is actually do-able. my teacher offered an A for the semester if we can plan a whole day from 6am to 12am without using economics. help please?

I don't think you can. Even by trying to come up with a way, you are using economics, in it's broadest sense. Whenever you are trying to judge what the best action will be, you are taking into account opportunity costs, either explicitly or implicitly. Even when you choose to breathe, you are judging that it is preferable to do so and not die. The decision that the effort of breathing is better than the alternative is a matter of choice (albeit an easy one).

Economic theory is based on people making rational choices to satisfy their wants/needs. So make irrational or random choices by throwing dice or flipping a coin to decide everything you do. You may not be happy with the results but you could probably get through a day. You can argue that breathing or walking in front of cars is not a choice, but a reflex. Unless he wants to define cats and dogs as rational economic agents attending to immediate body needs does not require rational choice. Likewise spending money you don't have is not possible.

It's impossible. If you chose to sleep all day, arguably the most passive activity possible, you would still be making an economic decision by suffering the opportunity cost (likely quite high) associated with sleeping all day instead of using your time for other purposes. I'm not sure if the challenge is this sophisticated, but if it is you're SOL.

You would have to go camping naked. No gear no car no nothing. If you want an A, just think of how someone spent their day before economics was established and place that day in current time avoiding any economic pit falls.

Even sleep, still use economics to think too..cuz if we sleep, we face many opportunity cost. Well, economics is related to making choice. We all need to make choice, so there may be no way of not using economics.

I am here answering cuz wanna alert you think of opportunity cost, choices, trade-off, which are main components of economics. Even if you die, the cells end and you dont need to make choices. still making choice in life, you always be around economics.
