Am I too late to enroll in community college for the coming semester? How can I get into community college of Philadelphia? What is required? Are there any placement tests? I don't know what my SAT score is, but I know that it's horrible. What can I do? I graduated in high school 3 years ago, but I didn't continue my education. Now I really regret about that. The only thing I have is the community college certificate. Is that my diploma?

According to the Academic Calendar listed on their website, the final date on which you could pay the full tuition for Fall 2007 was August 7, so I'm afraid you've missed this semester. If you pay by December 5, you can start January 14. You can look up the details of how to register on their website, which is www.ccp.edu. In general, you don't need an SAT score to get into a community college (and my Little Sister registered at CCP at one point; she never took an SAT, so you should be okay).

It depends on that colleges policies. Community colleges are pretty much open door. You can take placement tests, just to get you into the right level classes, or you can start at the bottom, or with high school transcripts you can start higher. As far as late start, our school allows 2 weeks after classes start at the most. Our classes started Monday. It varies by the college when classes start. You don't need to have high SAT scores to go to community college, the are there to help people like you (and me too) to continue our education.

Go make an appointment with a counselor and they will help you on your way.

You can earn two year Associates Degrees at most community colleges.

Community colleges generally don't require any sort of GPA or SAT scores. I am going to a community college right now and did not even take the SAT. Community college's usually just require that you are a graduate of High School, or have permission from your HS to take the college course, and that you are a current resident in either the state or county. Good Luck, and don't stress to much, you will be just fine!!!

When did the semester start? After a couple weeks, even enrolled students cant get into classes. Go down and ask. They want you there and will help you to get in. SAT scores shouldn't matter at a community college

You probably wouldn't be able to get in for the fall semester but you could spring. There are probably placement tests. SAT scores don't matter at a community college. Go talk to the registrar at the community college and they can tell you everything you need to know.

You will need to apply to the school first. It doesn't look like it is too late to start in the Fall, but you will have to get going ASAP...like Thursday. Classes start on the 4th of September, which is Tuesday.

The certificate you earned is not a diploma, it is just a certification that you have completed a certain sequence of courses for a specific program
