what you shall feel when an injured person die in your hands? helpless,or guilty?

it is one of the worst feeling a person can have cos at that moment u will have to do anything in ur power to save that person but if the person dies u feel helpless, sad, guilt.

I wouldn't feel guilty unless I hadn't did everything I could have to save the life. I would only feel helpless if there was nothing at all I could do. I think it just really depends on the situation. It's a pretty big deal, huh? Either way, I sure won't be feelin' good! I hope that never happens to you sweetie. Have a good one. <3

I felt both (and still do) when my father died in my house - he should have been in my arms, but I was scared and was waiting outside for the ambulance. OMG does that bring back the shame of not being there for him. I don't think I'll ever get over it.

Very difficult to deal with emotionally, especially a child. A person who expresses no feelings or grief is a sociopath or very emotionally disturbed.

I would do everything I could on my end, to help this person by keeping them still and quiet, until help arrives, but I would be very upset, that they did not make it!

As long as I had nothing to do with the death, I wouldn't feel too bad. But anyway you look at it, it's going to do something to you.

helpless and sad. there must have been nothing I could do. I hope that never happens to me, it must be traumatic.
