pride comes before the fall, of course it can happen. I'm not saying it will be tomorrow but when 2 countries have 3 times the amount of population well , it don't matter how many guns one guy has he can only shoot one at a time

The answer is no. The United States is not going to be conquered by foreign invaders. Our nuclear arsenal combined with a patriotic and well armed populace make this an unworkable situation for any who might try. I do think there is a possibility that we might face another revolution from within at some point though. I am also convinced that China will pass us in Super Power status within the next 50-60 years.

In this day and age occupying a country that doesn't want to be occupied isn't going to happen. The days of marching in and taking over are not going to be repeated. Iraq and Afghanistan are excellent examples of the foolishness of the attempt. If an invading force was ruthless enough, maybe it could be done. But that would require killing every man, woman and child.....the Attila the Hun School of Diplomacy. Even the Nazi, as ruthless as they were couldn't prevent resistance groups from operating. Even the Borg couldn't make it stick! "You will be absorbed. Resistance is futile!" Bet me!

Let's take that logically. If a tiny country like Vietnam didn't let a colossus like the US take over for 26 years, what do we have to worry about, other then another war mongering Bush.
Even without any military, nobody could take our country. Hitler tried to cross over the 18 miles channel and couldn't get England at his best time. Do you think, somebody is coming like Hannibal with Elephants over the Bering street?

It would be impossible. Number one, we are at a prime location to make invasion hard-we would see it coming for weeks before the invaders landed on the beaches. Number two, a bulk of America is armed.

No I don't think so. Not only do we have the most powerful military in the world but most of our people would rise up and defend this nation. Actually, in my opinion, the worst enemy we have is liberals, within our borders.

yes, but not military, economically. we are already falling to the nanny state. you can not offend people. why do you think people will fight to defend what they don't love. AMERICA FIRST can start a lot of fights, but you have to listen to a bunch of viva mexico. we do not require English to be spoken in this country. go to another country and demand that they publish everything in English. good luck. AMERICAN ENGLISH is spoken is most countries because they want our money. but it is not forced on everyone the way spanish and so many others are forced on us here. yes, the way it is going America will fall from inside and we will forget that we are the greatest country in the world. why do you think so many people risk their lives to get here. to be one of the poor in this country is still better then many other possibilities.

After having deal with and listen to some of the people I have seen on here, that country would give it back and apologize LMAO...
Seriously though...no way...I don't know an American that wouldn't fight to the death to defend this country.
