The 1st answer is correct,,,,,,,But, I seriously doubt you heard that version.
You most likely have heard Robert Gordon's version.
(Not trying to be an ***, but that's the problem with people answering questions by searching the web. Many times, there is more involved than what you can learn by looking at a search hit for a couple of seconds)

OMG! Ihave this record. Its Joe Bennett & The Sparkletones. Ain't heard that song mentioned in eons. It is rock & roll, not jazz.
