Sometimes I feel like I can't even move to get up and do anything. Occasionally I'll get a "burst" of motivation, but it soon fizzles and I'm back to being lazy. Help! (And please don't suggest therapy--been there, paid for that.) ;^)

Accept that the world outside goes on, weather you get up or not. If we all just stayed at home in bed, nothing would get accomplished. Get up and join the rest of us. Try to find that getting through one day at a time can be rewarding at the end of the week and then celebrate!

I set a time and place each week to reflect on issues, nothing fancy, just a cup of coffee, turn off the cell phone, bring a notebook and a pen, play quiet music and ask What needs to be done now? What has to be done this week? What are my long term goals? What have I done this month to make that happen. write it all down.

Unfortunately not all of us are self starters... What helps me is a tight schedule. I don't let myself slide by: I have to follow it. I also found that working out helps to keep energy level high. Spending time outside is also great.
