You can't afford to do anything you want, can barely pay the bills, can't move out of a horrible town and/or state.....or just the simple fact of BEING poor! It's very depressing!

stereotyping. The local sheriff department puts up road blocks in an area where they can stop the residence from 3 trailers parks and 1 government housing project. Simply because those are the ones who would be most likely to have expired tag, driver's license or insurance. They never do road blocks where the more well-to-do people live--because most people would not get caught for anything. I lived in one of the trailer parks and was stopped at a road block at least once a week while I lived there---sure got tired of it, it would throw me late to work, church or wherever I might be going till the cops got thru the line of cars to get to me and ok me to pass. I don't live there anymore, but I'll never forget how that always made me feel---and it was just because we were lower class.

Getting a mate shouldn't be a factor unless they are superficial.
Real friends and lovers shouldn't judge you!
I'm not badly poor but I SURE ain't rich with a lot cash!
I hate not having a big house somewhere nice, more clothes , and just the comfort of knowing I have money sitting somewhere.
I hope one day that changes though.

That sickening helpless feeling when are told that your power is about to be shut if you don't cough up a few hundred bucks that you just don't have. Then you have to go degrade yourself, and ask family for help. They are willing to help, but not without giving you the lecture about how irresponsible you are.
Then there is noticing the lady at church who keeps looking at you funny. Only to realize that she works at the food pantry that you've been going to for help.

i wouldn't be able to answer that honestly. i'm not, sorry. but just because you're poor doesn't mean you can't get a girlfriend. not all girls base who they choose their boyfriend to be by wealth. i certainly don't.
