[(the square root of) 3x-6]^2 = [x - 2]^2
3x-6 = [x - 2]^2
3(x-2)=(x-2)^2
3 = x - 2
x = 5

3(x-2) = (x-2) (x-2)

so 3 = x-2

x = 5
