They gradually develop a kind of immunity like surgeons who in spite of all the blood on their hands through the day eat normally and relax or sleep.

I guess the feel exposing them is a way of stopping at least some of them. It is rampid because of the internet, it feeds these people. They no longer have to go to the corner dirty book store where they can be seen and caught, it's right here in their home, just push a button or two and feed off you worst and most devious thoughts, then after a while, act on them through the same medium, all without leaving your home...except for the few that do get set up and caught. I thank God they are doing something. I feel all pornography should be banned from the internet. If people want that, because our kids must be protected, let them go get it the old fashioned way. That would deter most of them just as in the past. The internet is a blessing and a curse all at once. When a society doesn't do everything it can to protect it's innocent children, it will be cursed, I really believe this. We really need to look at this and lobby for change.

I dont' see how this is just for the people on the Fox News since WE as people know this happens everyday and are able to sleep at night and so on: what should make the people who report it any different?

Their job is to report the news. What do you expect them to do? Lynch the guy?
