Back a bunch of years, my friends and I had this tradition that whenever we watched a Julie Andrews movie, we'd have to drink lots of champagne (not the expensive kind). How that started was I had a bottle of Korbel or something like it and Sound of Music was coming on so we decided to make popcorn but we didn't have anything but tap water to drink so we broke open the Korbel (we'd run out and bought more bottles). So from then on, all Julie Andrews movies were watched and sung while drinking champagne. It just makes our singing sound so much better.
