Dogs prefer me... Cats seem to dislike me. I must have been a dog in a previous life.
So I would go with Dogs

"How" do we prefer them? If we are talking about being house trained - well cats are more preferred then dogs. If we are talking about being a "watch-out" - then dogs would win.
They have their own preference... Cats are cleaner, but you can't have a cat around a pregnant woman... Dogs are a little messier, but at least they can actually protect you from others...

I love dogs then cats are fine. If you have a pregnant family member, do not let the cats go near her. The cats are very jealous and will lay across a baby's face to suffocate the baby. I told a family member about it and he spread the news. He even got rid of his cat. I was surprised because he was extremely crazy about the cat. Peace and God Bless.
