I'm now in a situation where I need to carpool with someone. Does anyone have any cure?! I don't like dramamine or anything that causes drowsiness -can't have that either in my situation- and I've tried wrist bands & herbal tabs....HELP with ideas?!

One ear plug.
It changes your balance and as that is one of the reasons you feel bad, it will help you.
An other thing that helps me is making sure I have fresh cold air. (You will need to ask the driver but often when they hear you are feeling sick a lot can be done.)
Most people feel better looking out of a window, but I always felt better with something to do, like reading or embroidery.

And imprint your mind with the knowledge you are not going to be sick today!!!

I get carsick too. What i do is always try to sit in the front passenger seat and if i can put the window down so the air distracts me for a bit. If you cant sit in the front seat then try sitting in the back with a CD player, close your eyes and just try to fall asleep. Hope this all helps!

Wrist bands really work for me... are you sure you put them on the right spot on your wrists? It makes all the difference... seriously. I wear mine alot because i get motion sick too..

Try focusing on one spot on the horizon the entire time you are in the car, and dont look at anything but that far away spot. Make sure its in front of you out the front window, not out the passenger window. And make sure you tell the driver you get motion sick.. in case
