I skipped work for a few hours and saw Land of the Dead a while back. Once when I was quasi-homeless/living in my car I went to the drive-in and watched The Matrix.

I go to the movies alone all the time now, since I found a place showing the $1.50 movies that opened a couple of months ago. I love it. I am allergic to a lot of perfumes so I have to go when there isn't a crowd or else I end up getting a wicked migraine from somebody's stinky perfume.

I took myself out on a date to eat at the closest Ale House and seen the movie Casino Royal (007)! James Bond was my date that night! I was there by flying solo and all I could do to comfort the situation was to say to myself, "There is a bunch of strangers that are here with me, I don't really feel all alone and I can do what I want! It really isn't so bad after all!"

yes..never been quasi-homeless at the same time though. If you go with someone else i'm always conscious of if they are enjoying it. which is really distracting.

all the time. when my husband was still in the navy and he was on board ship for 6 months at a time. we had free movie theater on base, during the day when there where no kids there i would go and just watch movie after movie.

For the last year or so, when I've gone to the movies, I've gone alone. I'm not in a relationship, so why not? I still like to see movies on the big screen, even if it's not as big as it used to be.

I went to matrix 2 alone because I wanted to see it and my friends had seen it already...bad decision.

I did. There was a bad, bad snow storm and I was bored. I hopped on a bus and went. There were six people in the theater and I wasn't the only one there by myself.

I do at times. I am married with kids. I love my family but somtimes it feels good to be alone. Going to watch a movie and not have to cater to anyone but myself is heaven. I hope you all can understand.
