Move in with somebody or get a roommate. Quit eating out. Cancel all magazine/newspaper subscriptions. Get rid of cable and internet. Buy store-brand foods. Save all your pennies. Cut coupons. Drive as little as possible. Work more hours.

Cheap accommodation you can get an apartment for as little as 2000-3000 baht a month in Nonthaburi which is the next province outside Bangkok but only 30 minutes to the centre. This includes an air-con and hot water. Food can be eaten on the streets as little as 20 baht per meal / snack or a full blown meal in the food centre in most malls about 50-60 baht Beer is about 30 baht Large Leo, Singha or 60 Baht Large Heineken from 7-11 store and from 80-110 baht Small from expat bars. Best way to get a good deal is to get a Thai to negotiate a price for an apartment or Condo. Also try LPN Condo there is alot of being rented out at about 10000 baht which is top end of the market

get another job.preferably the 'work at home' kind. look for discounted items. quit a habit, maybe drinking, etc. or you can live in asia. a dollar is around times 40. plus expats earn more than locals. you will also look different so most probably they'll get you to be a model of something and you'll earn so much more. fame is also a bonus

free samples.
I go online everyday and fill out numerous forms for free samples of tons of things. This week i got 2 very nice razors, a coupon for free coffee creamer, free shampoo and conditioner, free face care products, free dog food, and numerous other small things ive probably forgotten about.
In the past i have gotten a free leather bound book about Thomas Kinkade, a free travel bag with 6 free shampoos and conditioners.
I have huge boxes of this stuff, i havent bought toothpaste, deoderant, shampoo/conditioner, or razors in years. Its really worth the time it takes and you can get a variety of items everyday.
My favorite site for freebie searching is here:

Don't eat out, drink water instead of soda, walk or ride your bike instead of driving your car, make sure you turn off your lights when they aren't in use. By generic instead of name brand.
