that would be like me going into the women's locker room, i would be attracted to them, and i would very much like that, that's like every' man's fantasy, and homosexuals get to live that fantasy every time they go. somethin's not right about that. what's your opinion? ( and i'm not afraid of homosexuals, because i'm friends with one, so mark that comment off right now)

innocent enough question. I am lesbian and would enjoy being in a woman's locker room. However I would stare and then the ladies would probably throw me out.

It's only a male fantasy to go into the women's locker room because it's just that - a fantasy. It's not real. They imagine attractive women naked, a sight they rarely see and which they associate with sex.
In real life, it ain't that great. And I say this as a bisexual transman who has used men's, women's, and co-ed bathrooms and locker rooms (I went to a hippie college).
Any thrill you may get at first encounter is quickly overwhelmed by the normality of it. Gyms that end up being hook-up spots notwithstanding (never been to one, don't see the appeal, but some people seem to like them), this isn't generally a sexual environment. It's a vaguely gross public facility. Once you get over the shock of public states of undress, it ends up being about as sexy as a bus station.

I never thought about it really. I'm not gay but gay and straight men and gay and straight women stare at me when I walk by. Because I have a big butt, big hips, and a heavy sway when I walk. That doesn't make me uncomfortable. I'm also not uncomfortable taking my clothes off in front of women, gay or otherwise. I guess because I've done this all me life. I still don't want to share a locker room with men, though. What can I say, I'm programmed that way. my best friend is gay and, trust me, they don't all get off on seeing naked people of the same sex.

ok, first of all, don't assume that all men want to go in to a locker room to see naked women, I mean if you're asking this question you obviouslly know that not all men are attracted to women. and next why say homosexual people, just say people attracted to the same sex, I personally don't identify as homosexual, nor do I know any one who does. And I'm sure some people enjoy seeing people they don't know naked, but seriouslly, no I can't see a dressing room as being a sexual place, I mean would you really like haveing some one you don't know thinking about you sexually after seeing you naked by chance, I think not.

Just because you're a heterosexual doesn't mean you want to see everyone of the opposite sex naked. In the locker room you'll probably find you're not attracted to most people in there. So there is no real advantage.
If I want to see naked women, I just log on to the internet or goto a strip club with friends...

Bing in the girls locker room after phys-ed class (gym) in 9th grade was how I discovered I was bi. All the wonderful thin yummy girls walking around naked or with towels, dressing and undressing, It got so I had to think about death just to keep from moaning outloud. But, it's a structured environment, hitting on people when they are in a vulnerable position like that is taboo. freak out.

Here's the thing. It's kinda like being a doctor. If you've seen one you've seen them all. I mean, once in a while you bump into a really hot guy in the shower, but he's straight. Ya look for a second, but it's really no big deal. Then you go on about your business. In a straight shower environment, checking out straight guys is about as hot as looking at yourself in the mirror. That is if you have your head screwed on right. It's no big thing. We really don't much care to look at you guys. I mean one glance for the record, (as any guy does, gay or straight) and thats it. Then on to the conditioner.

IDK....just because I find some men attractive...doesn't mean if I was in a locker room of random men I'd find them all attractive...in fact, it would be surprising if I found one or two of them.....I think it would be the same with someone who is gay....It would depend on WHO they find attractive...it's NOT JUST ANYONE!

No wonder I spend more time in the locker room than in the gym. I'm getting an "eye" work-out!
