it sounds like you are in more pain then you should be. I'm surprised that the doctor didn't give you anything. maybe you should stop icing it. you maybe putting too much weight with the ice. The arm should be in a sling. keep it as still as possible, and sleep on your back. if your shoulder is not swelling, you shouldn't worry about ice. ice is bulky and could get heavy--this could also be the reason for your pain. you may want your doctor to call a pharmacy near you. or get some Tylenol. hope you feel better!!!!

It should start to feel better in a week or so. Put ice on it as much as you want, but only for 20 min at a time.

it depends, also it may take along time for the collarbone to heal, it can take up rto a few months depending on how bad you broke it, Hopefully the pain should reduce for while. I cracked my collarbone in Early may 2007 and it still didnt heal.

I feel so sorry for you. If I ever broke my collarbone I would probably want to die.
Hopefully your doc put you on painkillers...your pain should decrease as the days go by, just make sure you don't re-injure your collardone.

It should start feeling better in the next few days. Alternate heat and Ice. Ice is more for swelling, and the heat will help with pain.

whilst my emotional discomfort have been given too undesirable and that i could no longer get the help i wanted, no rely what steps I took or who I asked for help (ER, family individuals, buddies), i eventually dissociated (started seeing myself from exterior my physique. I see this as my soul being so uninterested in the discomfort and what i became going to try this it had to leave. I went approximately my known recurring. i could desire to nevertheless examine communications in first guy or woman, yet i became separated from myself. for the duration of that factor I lost reminiscence of what i became doing. There are factors the place my days are blackness. Then I truly have thoughts of tablets in my palms--thoughts of hallucinations, seizures, charcol, etc. intense emotional discomfort can't be exceeded over. It hangs around. in case you have a pastor, you are able to talk along with her or him, yet you are able to pick a psychiatrist to get by way of this. in case you are able to no longer have adequate money an appointment with a private psychiatrist, bypass to a low income health center. God positioned psychiatrists right here for a reason. you do no longer could desire to go through with this intense discomfort if that is relieved. in case you had a broken leg, does not you have a doctor set it and positioned it in a forged? does not you're taking the prescribed drugs whilst the discomfort became too plenty? Emotional discomfort isn't any diverse. Ignoring a deep cut back, hoping it is going to heal will probable carry approximately an infection and loss of the arm if no longer loss of life from gangrene. Ignoring emotional discomfort, hoping it is going to easily bypass away, will probable carry approximately worse discomfort and loss of life from a self-inflicted means. do no longer take opportunities. Get help Bless you and sturdy success.

The doc should have told you how often he wanted you to apply ice. If the doc didn't tell you how often then call back and ask.
