i hate having it cuz am only 11 and am going to a pool party on sunday this coming week and school is starting next tuesday i don't want it at school! i don't i dont! i hate my period it's retarted my friend wich is older than me said she see's pads in the garbage can everyday at the middle school and am going next tuesday i don't want to miss swimming because of my stupid period what should i do!?? and who else hates there period?

use a tampon! i know they seem scary at first, but trust me, u cant even feel it when its in u. they can also be worn in water. i was using pads since i was age 11-mid age 13. when it was january (still age 13), i was going to school and i thought, "its bad enough having cold weather..now i have to feel like im wetting my pants bcuz of my period." so, i just started using tampons. if they hurt when u pull it out, thats ok. its gonna kinda feel weird when u pull it out, but after the first 3 days of it, u'll be used to it. find tampons that say "slender", "slim" or "juniors". those are made for small bodies.

I hate having to do it too, but you have to deal with it until menopause. You're going to have to change it at school too. I am 13 and it's not that big of a deal. I just change it after lunch. For the pool party if it's okay with you (and your mom) use tampons! But your period is something you have to deal with as being a woman.

First of all you don't have to miss swimming because you have your period all you have to do is wear a tampon. I don't want to be rude, but you are going to have to get use to your period because it's going to be around for a long time!! It's not really a big deal. No one enjoys their period, but we all put up with it. Just be happy you don't have bad periods like some women have with bad cramps and bloating!!

woah! i know exactly what your going through! I started my period when I was way younger than you. If you really want to go to a pool party then use a tampon. if you don't want to do that then just tell your friends the truth why you didn't want to go.

i got mine when i was pretty young too i know how you feel. They have tampons for teens now. Try that. you can still do anything you want on your period. i hate mine too but after a couple of years they become just a normal part of the month. good luck sweetie

I don't think I know anyone that absolutely loves their period. It's just part of life that we get through and move on to brighter days.

i understand you are 11 but the best thing you will ever do its change to tampons..i went to the beach and used them and it was fine.. plus less mess and you wont have to change it as much as you do with a pad..good luck!!
ohh and i def. hate mine..
