Do people just think that I am super ugley or pretty?

Everywhere I go everyone I have eye contact with looks at me in the eyes for at least 3 secounds. I am no barbie doll with quite a big nose and a long mouth. But I am a firm beliver that your happiness shows through on your face. Do you think it is a 50/50 chance that they just pitty me or if I am pretty to them

beauty starts within you. you must feel comfortable with your looks and not care about what you think others are thinking about you. love your look no matter what flaws you think you may have!

Oh boy.......I get a headache just thinking about this. I tried long and hard to answer this question for myself......and NEVER really got an answer. Which is OK. It used to be that my self-esteem was based on what other people thought of me. So questions like these were of enourmous importance to me. Eventually I had to surrender that I just don't know. And, even now, I don't believe it's possible to answer this question. I've learned that attraction is a complicated thing based on many things such as age, height, wether you remind them of somebody they liked before like a father or mother or past romance, timing, race, what you happened to wear that day and so on. And, when a person looks at you, you never know why they're doing it.
So I guess my point is, you can't really know. So give it up. You'll save yourself a lot of energy. Just enjoy the looks. Even it they're thinking something negative, nothing you can do about it. You're a beautiful person and someone's opinion doesn't change that. But I can tell you, most of the time they're not.

Maybe they do think you're pretty,who knows but sweetie it doesnt really matter what everyone else thinks. You are who you are no matter if people think you're pretty or not, you can't really change that. I have a feeling you have the right idea though, beauty does shine from within whether you are a Miss America or just some girl being teased at school for their looks. Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder anyway. You're beautiful just the way you are :)

Impossible to know what's going on in a person's mind. Maybe they are just being polite and acknowledging your existence. Rather than driving yourself crazy worrying about what a stranger may think, why not smile at them, and enjoy your day? Have some confidence. The only opinion of your appearance that really matters is your own.

If I get philosophical and say you are what you are that would sound inane. People find other attractive for various reasons. They don't usually stare that long at ugly people. That must mean you are quite good looking. If it isn't your body that makes them look at you so long, then you must have an exquisite face that is somewhat prettier than most. Keep what you have, but don't think too much about it. After all, you are what you are.

Well, generally if you look people in the eyes, they look back.

I think you are over analyzing and are self-concious. Most people are not really thinking about the people around them. They are thinking about themselves or the 50 things they need to get done that day.

my most favorite thing to observe about people is how well couples match. In my many years of observatory experience the only thing to conclude is that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. I've always considered myself pretty average, but managed to have 2 quite hot bf's and finally my husband whose kinda' average like me....It's true, your outside will reflect what's going on in the inside.

People make eye contact with you when you make eye contact with them. If you are uncomfortable with the contact, break it by looking down!

Very hard to tell without seeing you. If a guy finds a girl attractive he is gonna stare at her (most of the time unless he is well mannered). One real good way to tell if you are being checked out or just looked at is to look back at them after you have passed them. If they are looking back at you they were checking you out.
