Lately it has been so much worse. Yes, my real life IS very stressful and I want to come here to have some fun and relaxation, that is the point. People being vicious to one another is extremely draining to me, sorry if you don't get it.

First off, I'd like to apologize on behalf of the two jerks above me. (They know who they are.) Or, more likely, their parents, since they're probably juveniles.
Anyway, yeah, it does bother me. Some nights I have to avoid this category all together. And I'm starting to wonder if the block box fills up at some point.
But, people like you keep me coming back. More often than I get angry, I laugh out loud. I get into the most interesting discussions. I meet people, make friends, think, and learn. Until those things change, I'll keep coming back. :)

Your question is drama. How can anything you see in here have any affect on you at all? Your real life must really be stressful. This is fun the drama is off the computer. All it is here is just words on a computer. The crazy stuff is done to get people going. You just ignore it. But the funny thing is. The real stupid questions get the most response. So I think we all secretly like the conflicts.

drama here doesn't bother me. i realize that most of the people on yahoo answers are not like this in real life, because they know they would get a real life whopping if they were. remember that anonymity to some is a warm blanket that gives comfort. to other anonymity is an excuse to be a total jerk.

I for one try to avoid the drama, which is usually lame to begin with. Once in awhile someone will push my button, and being in my nature I will blast em if what they say is ignorant.
I don't pay much attention to petty stuff and go on to the next question.
I for one look foreword to your questions so don't let the immature users keep you away!

You know what? Internet drama doesn't bother me. I've had drama in real life, and these are people I don't know, typing words I can choose to ignore.
Also, it makes it easier when you remember that most of those rude, drama filled people are angst ridden 14 year olds trying to be tough and cool...

you're on a website where people are not with people in a physical space and aren't likely to ever see, or at least know they're seeing, one another, so for some people it is probably a good place to cry and vent and all that dramatic stuff especially if they're lonely people.
So maybe give them a break.
