Nope, I wish I was joking. I am doing Spanish homework, and apparently it's backwards, or something crazy. Here's a screen shot of my answers (I basically just put in the same month of one particular season to see if there was a pattern...there wasn't.)

In all areas below the Equator, the seasons are reversed. So, spring and summer in the N. Hemisphere is fall and winter in the S. Hemisphere, and vice versa---Oct. through March is spring and summer; April to September is fall and winter."

Yea, that's what I thought, too.....

But if you look at my screenshot, two of the months are in the same season, but the other one is in one completely different.

I'm not sure what you mean by the order of months. They are the same anywhere (Jan, Feb, March...)

The seasons are reversed in the Southern Hemisphere as opposed to the Northern H. Technically, Fall begins around March 21, Winter about June 21st, Spring about Sept. 21st, and Summer about December 21st (each date can vary a day or two each year).

I have had a penpal in Australia for over 25 years and her Christmas Day (still Dec. 25) occurs during their Spring season.

I live in Australia and I can tell you that:

1. Christmas Day is in Summer and it's often hot
2. It's currenty Winter and cold in the mornings (but starting to warm up a bit)
3. Spring will start next month (Sep) and I'll get hay fever
4. I love the Autumn (Fall to you guys) in March / April.

Here in Australia, the seasons are deemed to start on the 1st of the month... so Winter starts 1st June, Spring 1st Sep, Summer 1st Dec and Autumn on 1st March. However, that's just a quirk of, well, politics and history and doesn't affect the actual weather!

All the months are in the regular, USA-Standard, order.

I'm pretty sure that it's the same in Argentina... wait... I'll just ask my Argentinian colleague 2 desks down... Yep - it is, except there the seasons start on 21st of the relevant month
