Is it natural thing to wear sunglasses walking down the streets of Manila?

Is it a natural thing to wear clothes where you came from? It's not a trend in the Philippines to wear sunglasses. People do it during summer or whenever they feel like their eyes need protection. It doesn't mean that it's mandatory for everybody to wear sunglasses in the Philippines. If you want to take care of your eyesight, you would wear one too, no matter where you are.

Depending on the area, it is. For example, Filipinos wear sunglasses when they are near Manila Bay. Some Filipinos also wear sunglasses inside chic and trendy places, such as in Makati.

i use sunglasses even on cloudy days from 10 am to 4 pm, depends on how dark your shade is, the UV rays is most severe during this hours, so use one that is UV400 protection, prevents the eyes from being blinded by formation of cataracts.
there are cheap brands and very expensive signature brands, but it works the same.The wider the lens, the better.

Wear anything you like. People wear it for practical reasons as well as a fashion statement. And yes, even the tricycle drivers wear them thinking they look good wearing shades. And can look at the legs of their passengers without being obvious. LOL.

Heck, here in the Philippines it is a natural thing to wear them in the rain and at night. Just look at the Jeepney and tricycle drivers. LOL
