I'm getting new to the fish thing, and cant really tell if she's pregnant. Actually, I cant even tell if it's a male or female.

Please let me know what you fish experts think, so I know if I should get a breeding box for her.

sorry, it's the best pic i could get. also, the gray area in her belly really only looks like that in the pic, I dont notice it when I"m looking right at her.

i should also add that I have no other mollys in my tank...but i assume she was exposed to males at the pet store. i bought her about a week ago.

It's really hard to tell from that picture, i can't even make out the fins beneath

I had white molly's in the past, and i was never able to tell if she was pregnant or not, because the gravid spot ectually doesn' t really exist, since the babies come out all white

But I think the platy just beneath her is pregnant, it has this orange looking gravid spot

But if you think that the molly is pregnant, please don't put her in a breeder, it's way to small for them and will only stress her out, as well cause abortion in the process

its pregnant because its belly is to large for the normal size.... place in the breeding box but be sure to separate it after giving birth..

place it also to a capacious box for its feel of secure and locomotion...
