My girls only go barefoot at home beach,etc. When I was a kid I can remember always being barefoot. In Mcdonalds,IGA,SEARS everywhere. I was a child who hated wearing footwear,still do. I am loving wearing no socks right now,but soon socks and boots. I loved no wearing shoes..

Where I have threaded barefoot beforehand.
There are actually a lot of dangerous situations from seemingly harmless patches of grass/sand. Anything which allows small insects or debris to be hidden should be looked thru. The best form of insurance to to step thru them yourselves, so if theres anything, your heavier weight would have felt it first.
Adults suffer much less from infections/ cuts than children, so we tend to be very callous.

Just in the back yard or around the house. I wouldn't feel safe going out in public barefoot

i like going bare foot, but i dont go outside my house barefoot...i used to go to the store barefoot when we were on the way to the pool

Inside of my home or my family and friends homes only. Never in a public place. To many unseens.

I have no problem with them going barefoot in the house, since I do it, but when we go outside, they MUST put their shoes on.
