should I,
a) Ask all of P&A for forgiveness for my failure to abide by P&A ethical conduct
b) Apologise to the poor woman whose question I answered in a silly manner - hence further venturing out of P&A
c) beat myself into submission with a large stick
d) go to university, become a pediatrician and move permanently to the pregnancy section

I feel guilty sometimes when I ask others for help with my kids, but I think it's something we really need to do. You'll be a better mother and a better wife (and a happier person!) if you take the time you need to rest and relax. It doesn't sound like you want excessive time away, just enough to recharge. I'm sure your parents would be not just willing to watch your daughter, but thrilled! Most grandparents love getting time with their grandbabies. If asking for help makes you feel guilty, maybe you could offer to return the favor in some way... make them a meal, help with a home maintenance project, or something else. Something my husband and I do is trade off babysitting with other couples... we watch their kids for a night so they get a chance to get out, then they watch our kids on another night so we can go out. Everyone wins, and the kids get to play together (though mine are still a little small to really play) :)

Don't be so hard on yourself. We've all deviated from P and S. to other categories simply because the question was so irresistible and could not resist the temptation to post an answer to another question outside the boundaries of P and S.

Don't feel bad, I ditched R&S because I thought a lot of people were cool there but I realized many (not all) are just jerks.
