To do it the right way you need to be 18. If you decide to leave on your own an investigation will be launched and could even get so ugly as to get your parents in trouble for you not making you go to school. School is a important prerequisite for the rest of your life. Lack of education will only hurt you, keep you from better paying jobs, more interesting jobs and jobs that will challenge you. Life is not supposed to be only fun. The things you learn now in school may seem irrelevant but later in life they will play a big role. There is plenty of time to have fun after school and on the weekends. If you quit school you will probably have to get a job. What kind of job could you hold down right now?
Talk to your school counselor and let them know that you are bored in school. Perhaps you are not being challenged enough. Talk to your parents, explain how you feel and see what they say. Don't quit school too soon. Get some advice from adults and see where it takes you. Even though it may seem silly now, think about your future. Good luck and be sure to talk to some adults!!! Learning can be fun!!!

Well technically I think u can leave around age 16. But if ur homeschooled and ur parents teach u then u only have to be taught for about 2 hours. I was once homeschooled and its way better. Rather than going to public school for about 8 hours u can be homeschooled for 2 hours. Its pretty coooooool.

I think you have to be 16 with a parent's permission; otherwise 18. Why don't you just suck it up, stay in school and graduate? High school really isn't that difficult. I hated school, too, but geez.....what else are you going to do? What kind of job do you think you're going to get with no high school diploma? You're ruining your life by dropping out.

How long will it take you to grow up? School is not MTV. School is learning how to solve problems that will carry you on into more education and the work force so that you can take care of yourself. Childhood can only take you so far. If you need help get the teachers to help you with tutoring. Your future is in your capacities to solve problems not to have fun!!

Well I think as long as your parents are responsible for you, until then you have to stay in school. Just give school a chance pick subjects that appeal to you. Ask yourself what makes school boring? Then try to change that.

If you don't go to school, you'll never get a good job, so that when you do have the time to have fun, you won't have the money to do it.
School ends once you finish it and graduate, whatever you're done with it at.

I'm pretty sure the earliest you can leave school is 16 to pursue a traineeship or apprenticeship in a trade based occupation.

Please speak to your parents and perhaps your school counselor. School prepars you for life and it will truly be a sad, sad place for you if you don't have an education (read truly no fun ever after) so stay in school, pay attention and learn - that's what you're there for...fun is just a side benefit...

Now it is 18. years ago when my mom was a kid it was 16 but not anymore. I dropped out and 18 and I say DON"T DO IT! It is stupid. I had to study my ass off for a GED and have a low pay job.
