Well, there's not a lot of written records to prove that Shakespeare even existed, but I have read that he had maybe three or four, although I'm not sure how many of them survived childhood. It's hard to know because there were no birth certificates back then and one must trace through church records or a census, if any.
A copy of his will still exists, listing the property he owned when he died and leaving everything to his wife, but I think that one son is mentioned in the will. You can see his will at the below link. I didn't read it this time, so maybe I'm wrong about it mentioning his son, but I think it does.

scholars in faculties right this moment study extremely a brilliant form of modern writing, truthfully. the clarification why they nonetheless study Shakespeare, and would proceed to realize this, is by way of fact Shakespeare is between the suitable writers ever to have written interior the English language. He can instruct extremely everyone an immeasurable quantity approximately form and language; and, if i'm allowed to get on my cleansing soap container for a 2nd ... whilst i think of of the linguistic poverty of one in all those super form of of the little ones I instruct (even people who're "proficient and proficient"), then have faith me, the extra Shakespeare they examine the extra advantageous.
