without technology

With advances in technology, humans will not have a need to evolve anymore because we are using technology as short term replacement. The only requirement is in medicines so no, I don't believe humans will evolve without the use of dangerous chemicals long term.

We humans are evolving and will continue to do so, unless of course we do something really stupid and kill ourselves off. We are currently evolving to the tune of a new and different kind of natural selection. Our technology and progress in medicine has simply swamped out the more common natural selection of say that which regulates the animal kingdom. We humans are evolving into a more telepathic kind of creature. As progress continue along the lines of human/computer interface, it will become necessary for man to take on some of the characteristics of machine, and machine those of man. If we humans would only do what is necessary to master our own biology, we might master the nature of evolution and the universe itself, in my opinion. We humans are on the threshold of a grand evolutionary leap forward. It is simply our old traditions and religion, among other irrational fears, that holds us back.

We are evolving....there are trends we can see occurring in us ( comparing the other homonid species and looking even at trends in the last few thousand or hundred years).

These are:
Height.....we are getting taller ( go into an old house!!) and this can even be seen over only a couple of generations. This is one of the more obvious and quickly changing trait....a lot is based on diet ( as seen in Japan recently with better access to dairy products) too.

Brain...our brain is continuing to devlop and evolve...the main trend here is the frontal lobe ( which gives us out rounded forehead compared to other early species and even early humans)...this has also caused the brow ridge to be less prominant as well. In the future we should see people with more protruding forreheads ( this will be a quite a few thousand years fast forward tho)/

Our thumbs will probably devlop more as will our finger so we will be even better at fine motor skills....our thumbs have more muscles in them compared to apes, so we may develop more, but generally our hands should become more verstaile.

Our hips/back/knees may change further with the increased changes to that area in association with bipedalism ( walking on 2 legs).....we have a lot of back injuries and stress injuries ( comapred to other animals) may get better over time, if a new and ïmproved ways are devlopled....the only problem is if our pelvis changes then childbirth becomes even more tricky. In association with the brain devlopment, babies may be born even eariler than they are in the future in order to fit in the birth canal ( humans have high birth mortality compared to other animals)....

I can't remember any of the other possible changes in the future to humans.

I think that a couple answers above seem to be correct, however to answer the question of "into what" I would imagine, or like to imagine that humans might possibly be able to evole and use their "6th sense" and or maybe gain the ability to use "energy" as a sense. For example a lot of eastern medicine is based more so in the medicine of "energy" rather than the western ideas of gross medicine. That ability as a species would be cool. But I don't see how that would happen anytime soon!

Whenever there is a process that kills humans that have certain traits more frequently, but kills humans that don't have other traits less frequently, evolution will occur.

For example, it is possible that humans better able to rid themselves of unhealthy cholesterol will be more likely to the survive, so after many generations, humans may have slightly different cellular chemistry, making them more efficient at destroying cholesterol.

The above claim of about Lucy being a hoax is absurd. It is a perfectly valid specimen.

I don't believe humans have, or will ever evolve. I believe we were created the way we are, and, while skin color and some physichal features may change, humans will always be human. No evidence exists that says humans have evolved from anything. It was proven years ago the Lucy (the half monkey-ape) was a fake, as were the other 'missing links'.

i don't think humans will evolve anymore as a species. i think technological advances will continue to evolve but honestly that's about it.

They are evolving. At the moment, population growth masks any tendencies. When the population stops growing, then the favorable traits will better manifest.

As Darwin's theory human will not evolving anymore.Because there is no more occurring natural selection on human.

Humans aren't evolving because we don't let the weaker traits die out. If we did then a lot of us would have died because of things like :
Bad teeth,
Diabetes,
Appendicitis,
etc.etc.etc.
