i have really bad mood swings, one minute i'll think somethings great, the next minute i'll hate it. my mood swings are making me very indecisive and is cuasing trouble in my life. although i dont think i have manic episodes, could this be because of bi polar disorder. i have been diagnosed with depression before.

Sometimes it's the food we eat, the nutrition, maybe missing some vitamins. Make sure you get a lot of different kinds of food (stay away from "a lot" of junk food) so you can get the vitamins and minerals, and then add to that with a supplement and see if you feel any better. Otherwise it could be caused by hormones. After you've tried the vitamins for a few months, get your blood tested by your doctor and ask what you are lacking. If the doctor feels you need something added then he will prescribe it. But that's your last resort. I would think it's just hormones and nutrition. Sometimes sun cures depression. The summer has been hot but on the cooler days maybe you and a friend could go for a walk, or you could spend some time in the yard, or play some sports like running or throwing a few basketballs, or maybe you still can get in some swimming.

See your doctor and get on medication. You sound stressed. It does help.
