When I was in high school, in the early 90s, I was at least 5'9" and wore guys' jeans because clothing companied did not seem to realize that women other than their models were actually tall. I am now six feet. Even as an adult I have settled for pants and jeans that are a couple of inches above my ankles because it was better than nothing. I don't know all of the stores where my mother, who is 5'8" shops (she shops the department stores and mall stores marketed to women (Lerner NY, Christopher and Banks...), but she very rarely has problems finding dress pants for work or jeans that are too short.

While I very rarely set foot in a mall or buy clothes new, I did discover Express jeans a couple of years ago at Goodwill. They were son wonderfully long, that I happily paid Goodwill's full price for them, $4. They were actually too long, but they were also a bit big in the waist. (Usually, I just look for the 50% and the 75% off colors, mostly the latter.) I was bummed when I washed them the last time to put away for after my pregnancy. Also, New York and Company has nice long lengths (as in almost too long on me). Levis' and Gap also have long lengths. (I have a pair of Gap khakis that I got second hand and free. I don't like the way the pants look in the hips and waist, but the length is quite nice, so I just wear fitted blouses and blazers over the waist and hips.)

Target might be good. A couple of years ago I bought a pair of gray dress pants there. They were loose in the waist and hips. They were a size 12, but I didn't want to go to a ten, because I knew that it was not good for a 12 to be loose on me, weight wise and because I was buying them new. I belted them with a scarf. However, even when pulled up to the proper spot on my hips, they were still nice and long. Even if they hadn't been "free", they would have been worth the $20. (A week prior to getting the pants my husband bought me a new Saturn Ion. As a thank you gift [which was probably in some of the fees in the car cost] we got a $500 Target gift card. We agreed that my husband would have control over how the card was spent, since I was getting the new car. However, I had gone to Goodwill that day and tried on probably two dozen pairs of gray and black pants with no success and knew I would have to break down and buy new ones, which I kinda couldn't afford. However, we were going to NYC the following week and I needed the dress pants for the plays we were planning on seeing and because I needed the pants anyway. Well, the card came in the mail, so I used it. My husband wasn't overly happy about it, but he also knows that I don't buy clothes unless I literally need them. Even now, he has to occasionally talk me into getting something new.)

Last year, a friend who is two inches taller than me, blessed me with her old work clothes (she's a lawyer, so when she told me work clothes, I knew they would be good stuff) from Tall Girl. Some of the pants are too long, even with my two inch heels. (I have a pair of winter boots that have heels that are two inches high and two inches wide.) Being a specialty store, Tall Girl is expensive, but what I have, basic suit and dress pieces will last me a long time.

Anyway, I hope this helps.

wet seal jeans have inseams ranging from 30-36" plus, they're cute, durable and affordable (I got mine for $22.00). They even come in 6 different washes and 4 different styles to fit every occasion. Good luck! hope u find super cute jeans!

The store Buckle and Lucky Brand. Buckle carries Lucky Brand as well as others.

My neice was very tall at a young age too - legs that went on for days. These were the only ones she could find to fit her because she was your size too.

Kohls has short average and long styles in almost everything. American Eagle also has the different lengths, so does Aeropostale. But if you want affordable, go with Kohl's or JcPenney.

Search By Inseam - you can shop by your exact inseam! They search multiple sellers like shopbop, Nordstrom, Gap, Old Navy, Alloy, etc. and categorize everything by inseam, brand, and price for easy comparison shopping. There's also an article there on how to measure your inseam, which sounds like it may be helpful.
