Idiot is such a strong term, when moron will suffice.

First of all, the man has a degree from Cornell - one of the Ivies. That should tell you something.
Second, the man has range, from sports to serious news to the goofy stuff.
Third, he expresses opinions that I, and many others, share in regards to the Bush administration's contempt for the Constitution and international law. This is something no other person on cable news has the guts to do.

No one asked you to watch it.
I'm sure that Faux News is looking for more ratings. Why not turn it over to there?? Bill O'Reilly is such an insightful person (rolling eyes. . .).

"or what"
Sorry, Love Olbermann, he's on target and he's funny. He covers serious things I don't see on Faux news and silly things that I don't see on the MSM. Great, fun to watch and informative.
I don't use it as my only source of news though.
Oh, I have to add. Ratings has nothing to do with Quality. High rated shows ten to pander to the lowest common denominator in order to pull in more viewers. Keith panders to no one.

So, you dont like it. Who cares. Oberman is one of the FEW people on TV who has a show and clearly expresses a liberal point of view unashamedly. So what? The TV is filled with guys who do the same exact thing from the conservative side.
Funny how you righties get your undies in such a bunch over a person who you guys say has no ratings. But, of course no such problem with guys like O Reilly (yea, he never complains about Oberman....lol. just like he never complains about Frankin, right?? pppfffft), and Hannity who do the same exact thing, but from the right side of view.
yer all paranoid hypocrits.

I never miss his show. About time someone took on the far right and likes of Rush, Ann, Bill'o and Ann. If the right can dish out its slated message it must take the heat for its mistakes.

His show like many other liberal tv and radio commentators spend most time lambasting either Republicans or conservative commentators. Olbermann spends most of the time whining like a little kid, with ad hominem attacks on his competitor Bill Oreilly, someone who has literally 10-15 times the ratings. While Oreilly doesnt even so much dignifies the idiot exists. Its symptomatic of left media to attack the other side, while rarely discussing issues. Or if they do decide to discuss issues, they do it in their normal heavily biased way.
I dont even think ESPN wants him back now.
Example-Still any mention of Hillary Clinton campaign contribution scandal on any left wing media source? While spending most time on Larry Craig.

No, just a television personality with a political point of view. Sometimes--OK, usually--strident, but I enjoy his point of view and the way he presents it.
Re ratings--he's up 76% from last year. (O'Reilly is up 5%...hmm.)
