Lately I have been having trouble sleeping and
i think stress is causing it but it could be something more. It usely happens on the nights I work and I make sure to wind down and take a hot relaxing bath before I go to sleep. I have no problem getting to sleep but the past month and it has happened before, I wake up at least three or more times a night and think I am at work, so I think it could be something like sleep-walking cause I do get up and walk out of my room then I realize I am at home. I can get back to sleep easily but then I will get back up. Does anyone have an idea if this is just stress or If it could be something serious and I need to see a doctor.

I don't like to take any sleep aids cause they make me so drowsy the day after and sometimes make me feel worse.

I used to have a similar problem. If you drink coffee or soda you could stop altogether or at least do not drink after lunch. Caffeine stays in your system longer than you think and can also increase stress. Also, try exercising right after work. After working out and listening to my i-pod I have forgot about work until I get there the next morning.

Hopefully these tips help but you should if you still have problems sleeping you should mention this to your doctor.

i'm not a huge fan of sleep aids myself but i've found that the pm pain relievers work quite well. there is no drowsiness or irritability the next morning. it sounds like you stress is really getting to you. give this stuff a shot. it may work. sweet dreams
