What could be causing this?

I have been having small, non-painful, just extrememly irritating muscle twitches in my head, just where my hair is, and mostly around the back of my right ear. What causes these? Also, they seem to occur more often when I am listening to music thru headphones, which is not that loud. Any help would be appreciated

I often seem to forget that if its not a question about teenage relationships or other pointless things that nerds like to always be right about, it wont get answered here on yahoo. Devyn, this sounds like one of those things that can never be explained. First of all, see if this happens when you sit and relax and try to not think of the worldly concerns, this could suggest some sub clinical anxiety. Secondly, I would see if this happens around the onset of a headache, it is quite unusual to be an aura symptoms for a migraine. lastly, if it persists or worsens, i would see a doctor, for a detailed exam and to consider clinical or lab tests if indicated by the history and exam, let me know if i can tell you anything more. good luck
