do you want to be a famous actress for the acting or the fame. if it's for the fame, don't bother. you have to have dedication, have drive. I'm 13 too and have been acting for three years. I really want to be an actress. not for the fame. I would want to be recognized as a good actress rather than a Paris HIlton type girl. but nevermind that. If you are really passionate about acting, take classes, audition for plays, student films, local commercials...ect in your area. get as much experience as you can. if it is really your dream, go for it. as my freind John Heder says in Blades of Glory "If you can dream it, you can do it."

if you really really really want it that bad then go to L.A. for a month - you will see in newspapers ads looking for actors and actresses, you might run into a director down there - everything happens down in L.A. so i suggest u go visit for like a month or so...if you realy want it that bad and ur parents are willing you should consider moving to L.A. but since you're only 13 i suggest you wait a little longer - its a harsh world out there in the acting industry and u might not have tough enough skin but i wholeheartedly support you in ur desire to become a famous actor/actress.

It isn't about being famous. Acting is tough career choice. You have to be willing to take 100 "no's" before the slightest chance that someone might say "yes".
