Our boss telling us we can't have a pay rise. Wow what a surprise. Your doing a great job and I'd like to go into bat for you but I would get knocked out of the park. Yeah whatever. Now he's going to subject us to 40 minutes of what he calls an inspirational pep talk. What did we do to deserve that.

A friend of mine used to work for the UN in Afghanistan. Her and I were out for lunch today and we had a little chat about the ins and outs and what's really happening with international aid funds. Pretty shocking stuff. this world is so screwed up. Disgusting really.
