Wow, I can't believe some of the previous answers! Albino ball pythons average $1200. The price is beginning to drop as more people start breeding them. Not bad considering a few years ago they were between three and five thousand dollars. If you look around, you may see them for slightly under a thousand, but make sure you buy from a reputable breeder, and not some dirty pet store.

Snakes do not require much in the way of day to day care.I have a Red tail boa and for me the most expensive was setting up the home for him.If the snake is small one mouse a week is enough at a cost of a little over a dollar.I would recommend a cage disinfectant though for when you clean the cage.Snakes tend to get skin irritations.
