i have a boyfiend that ive been seing just over a month, he's my ex's close mate, which sounds really bad, but he's risking his friendship to be with me, and his mate (my ex) doesnt know about us yet.
at first he seemed really keen 2 see me all the time, but now he doesnt seem as keen and doesnt contact me often. and says hes busy. But hes going to uni in a couple of weeks and hes stressed about it so im wondering if that may be it. however wen he does make the effort to see me, hes lovely and tells me he loves me etc.
ive asked him if he def wants to be with me, and he says yes but im unsure. lads are so confusing.

Sounds like he might be confused about his relationship with you and your ex. His (mate). He probably knows if and when he finds out, that there will be problems between the two of them. Yes he is also preoccupied with Uni also.
Give him some time to sort things out.
