Can someone help me do 7x - 5x + 15 = 20 - 2t
...
I was wondering if Im correct on this one tho.
3(2t - 4) = 20 - 2t
6t - 12 - 6t = 6t - 2t - 6t
-1 = -2; Contradiction

No, you're not correct.
How does 7x-5x +15 become 3(2t - 4)?
Maybe it could be 2x+15?
(What happened to x? Did Harry Potter make a visit?)

What do you think 7x minus 5x is? (Maybe 2x?)

And how does 20 - 2t become 6t - 2t? Did someone tell you that 20 = 6t?

If you get an answer that you know is not true, then obviously you must have done something wrong.
If your answer is right then if you owe me $50 then you have to pay me $100. Right?
