are bomb dogs easy 2 train...?

i was thinking a bout training bomb sniffing dogs...is it easy, how much wood it cost, how long would you have to train them, how much money can you get for them, can you train them without a job in law inforcment

depends, if you know what you're doing anythings easy. You wouldn't be able to train them because you don't have access to C4, plutonium or many other bimb making materials that the dog must be familiar with. You would need some big time liscenses for that i imagine.

You can join a K9 unit somewheres with the goal of becoming a trainer but not just to make money.

Training YOU is at least as difficult as training the dogs. If you think Yahoo Answers can help, are not ready to ENROLL in classes, let alone actually train dogs. Unless you are a certified trainer, you would make more selling untrained dogs.

forget it the overhead along would eat you lunch == better off training blood hounds or coon dogs -- will not bring as much but the overhead would be a lot less== per your question it would cost just the feed and your time your should be able to get a good coon dog pup for say 250.00 and if he was a champion would bring you over 1k
