I have not seen a party implode like this since the Dem meltdown in 1994. I disagree with the person who says vote Republican even if you have to hold your nose. You will do a disservice to this nation. Our fathers did not build this nation to have loyalty to party be the be all and end all. Loyalty to country must supercede loyalty to party. If you feel the Republican you would vote for best represents your values, then by all means vote for them. If you have to hold your nose to vote for them, that means they do not represent most of what you believe or stand for. Why then would you let someone like that represent you? Just because they have an (R) behind their name? That is not good enough. Are people that gullible to think that the person would somehow do a 180 and do what they want? Come on now. If they did not do it before in their deeds and only with their words when campaigning, they are not going to change when they get in office.

Maybe. We Conservatives can't keep continuing to support "our guys & gals" because they are at least more conservative than the Liberal (in todays terminology) Democrat.
If we hope to have any chance to reform the party we must first let the Libs clean its proverbial clock. Then all the power-hungry, the phoney Conservatives (aka Rhinos--like John McCain), and the camelion oportunists will fall into the dust bin. From there, real Conservatives can run on real Concervative principles, and hopefully win, when the majority of the country sees that the liberal Dems are just running it into the ground. But then again, The Dems in power would most likely vote citizenship to all the illegal aliens and jurey mander their voting power in the same way they jureymander the voting districts in their favor. So, maybe the country is doomed to be a 3rd-world nation. Anyway, if is this happens, we are SCREWED, but if we keep phoney Conservatives in power, we'll be screwed in another way.
I won't stay home as long as I've got a conservative to vote for (be s/he Republican, Indie, or other). I can't imagine voting for a Dem).

I don't care if you are of the Communist Party, no one in the most free country in the world should ever decide to choose not to vote!
That is mud in the face to every person on the earth who is living under a brutal dictatorship or in slavery or poverty with no chance to get out. These people (millions, at least) long to live here in America, enjoying our abundant freedom, including the right to vote without being threatened or killed.
If you don't like how the Republican Party is being run, DO SOMETHING! Get involved, even if only by writing letters or emails. But don't stubbornly refuse to vote! Liberty is too precious and rare a blessing to throw away that way.

House Republicans are calling for an ethics investigation, most Republican presidential contenders have already denounced Mr. Craig. What more do you want? Why does the Republican party have to be culpable for the behavior of one minor Senator? There was evidence Mr. Craig was embroiled in unscrupulous behavior for over 2 decades and a half, it just so happens its coming out now.

Do you want a chameleon radical Marxist like Hillary Clinton in office? Remember the dozens of scandals in the Clinton white house? Ever see the analysis articles done on them? Guess who was a big part of every one of them (her initials are HC). A non-vote is a vote for tyranny.

Not me. If you choose not to vote in 2008, then you let the haters and the dreamers win. This is not the time to do that.

Bravo! If you feel this way, this current bunch is not "your" Republican party. Not trying to be sarcastic, but the Repub party did once stand for a ton of good and actually tried to live up to the standard. Times have changed immensely.

If you were a liberal - yes. Seriously the liberal mantra is all about society, the village etc - conservatives believe in personal responsibility - we hold those responsible for their acts and call for them to quit - unlike the liberals \ Democrats who deny Jefferson, deny Hillary, deny Fienstein and on and on. There is no reason to hold the party responsible for the pathetic actions of its members - we're talking 3 to 4 of them not even 1%
