Does he know what your expectations of him are? Most men need you to clearly communicate what it is that you are needing from them. Men are problem solvers by nature and maybe if you use this to your advantage, your situation might improve. My husband is lazy too, so this is what I found that works for us. On the weekend I make a list of what needs to be done, grocery shopping, cleaning, errands, etc. I tell him about the list and ask him to pick what he wants to do. He actually enjoys being able to cross things off the list once they are done and we sometimes make it into a competition as to who can get the most crossed off. If he could do this for you, maybe his 'reward' could be ignoring his laziness for a day, let him be a couch potato for a day. Hope it gets better for you! Good luck!

Talk to him and tell him how it makes you feel when he does not want to do things with you. Ask if you can make a deal that he will do something for X amount of time with you because you know he does love you and it would mean so much! Maybe see if you can set a "date" night. Video gaming can be an addiction....talk about that. If all else fails...just find your own fun and when he sees you don't need him for fun, he might just miss you and have second thoughts.
I wish you the best!

Would like to know how this gal is doing now with her lazy guy. Mine is so sweet and kind and I think the laziness is just something you have to live with if you love them. I have no desire to make his life miserable but just want to not feel aggravated all the time!!!

Evaluate your feelings and be honest. Sometimes we may love a person deeply; but there are things that we just cannot deal with -or accept.
If you think you can negotiate or that you can accept his behaviour, then continue with him. But if you try to think that you will be able to "change him" you will be bitterly disappointed.
We can change no one---except ourselves!

Whenever if-ever he does something to help act really exited and happy and praise him, I know that sounds dumb but men are like children and most of the time they want to see us happy so he might do more to help out.

If everything is such a burden to him then unburden him by showing him how good the door looks with him on the other side of it.

If you knew how he was then you need to take him the way he is. Nobody has the right to change anyone. You should of thought about it when you decided to marry him.
