He probably ordered the Secret Service to find and bring him a pair of prostitutes. One for him and one for the Chinese operative attempting to buy San Diego. Nothing of substance with the Kenya bombings. the cruise missiles were an expensive show for the public and no organizers were caught and tried.

He fired cruise missile at alledged al Qaeda bases in Afghanistan and also pressured the Sudanese government from sponsoring al Qaeda.
He could not do anymore because Republicans were hunting him down for the Monica Lewinsky nonsense. When he ordered the strike in Afghanistan, the Republicans accused him of trying to start a war to divert attention away from the Lewinsky mess. His cabinet also did not want ot create an international incident because the U.S. did not suffer a number of civilian casualties. It was viewed at the time that if Clinton started a war against al Qaeda, that the Republican leadership in Congress would lead an outcry against him for getting the American military involved in a conflict that did not directly threaten American lives.

Bill Clinton ordered a missle strike in my minnd to save face, but what's interesting is that also in 96 Khobar Towers 19 Airman Died and 300 were wounded that terror act to include the embassy bombing was Done by Osama's network. Now after those to bombing in 96 and 98 Bill Clinton refused to take Osama Bin Laden into custody saying he wasn't a threat, he also refused to take him into Custody in 99 as well, and in 2000 the U.S.S. Cole bombing happened and than 9-11 in 2001 which took six years to plan

Na, he was getting ready to leave office (if i remember correctly).
I'm still not convinced that invading Iraq was a good idea. I suppose that was vengence against Al Qaida and the attacks on 9/11 even though one thing had nothing to do with another.

Bombed Al Qaeda sites in Somalia and sent missiles flying into Al Qaeda camps in Afghanistan. Also made arrests of conspirators in Kenya, some extradited to U.S.
