Yes. Half the time they don't listen, and the half of the time when they *do* listen, it ends up being the *Trolls* they hear. Really, if you *had* a Top Contributor badge in this Category, know that Yahoo *took it away* because the Trolls in other Categories pissed and moaned....really, I can't imagine why folks in other categories *hate* P&S so much when they have *dens of iniquity* like Politics, Religion & Spirituality, Singles & Dating, and on and on to look to for messed-up people.

As for making this site better...I have some ideas, ok? But nobody would like them. So I will just say these few things in general:

--Yahoo Answers needs *more actual people* looking into matters. Abuse Reports, Complaints, Trolling, the whole entire works. This business with taking the Top Contributor Badges away from P&S users is just the tip of the iceberg, Yahoo Inc has a *really distorted* view of what really goes on here at Answers.

--There needs to be *EXACTLY ONE* set of Community Guidelines/Rules for everyone, period. No more double standards, no more letting folks get *away* with breaking the rules left right and center just because they are posting from India where things are *different*. No more Double Standards with Abuse Reporting across Categories either, what works under one Category should work in others where possible and appropriate. Meaning, the Abuse Reporting system needs to stop being *hair-trigger* in some Categories, and brain-dead unresponsive in others.

--Finally, the Trolls. The damned Trolls. Really, there are a relative handful of people here, just a small number, of hardcore trolls that need *utter eradication* from the internet, period. It is within Yahoo's power to do this too, to bar their email address and to *contact* their ISP....

Point is....Yahoo could do so much more. But it would cost money since it would involve sustained *human labor* to make work, and not just fiddling with code around the edges or sucking up to the trolls and their complaints at the 360 page.

I hope this helps....thanks for your time! ^_^

I would not say clueless but they should take into consideration any legitimate and meaningful suggestion genuinely and discover if the proposal is worth progressing to making the site better.

Of course they are! Do you think they even know it's having problems? When Yahoo gets a clue, it will probably be too late because all the decent people will be gone and trolls will roam freely.
