I saw Rent on Broadway for the 3rd time today, but it was my first time seeing it with Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal. And omg, I can't say enough how amazing they were! I really want to go back to see them again before they're gone, and I was thinking of going to the stage door to try to meet them. Does anyone know exactly where the stage door is? Also, where would be the best place to exit the theatre so that I can get to the stage door quicker? And has it been really crazy there since Anthony and Adam have come back? I heard it is, which is why I didn't go there today. But I would def like to try to if it's feasible.

Also, I know they raffle off seats in the front 2 rows a few hours before each show. Anyone ever participate in this? Were there a lot of people hoping to get seats? Or was there not many? Any advice which shows would be best to try to do this for? What would be the best way to get seats within the 1st 3 rows?

Thanks!

NO DAY BUT TODAY! :)

So I was looking around Ticketmaster before, just to see what kind of seats were available for the rest of the month. It pretty much seems like if you want seats center stage like 4th row, or row B, they're considered "premium seats" and cost $200 each. I was contemplating just buying those, but then I stumbled across a single seat in the same row, just on the right side, 2nd seat. I had a discount code, so it only cost me $50! I had to buy it lol. So I am definitely going to see Adam and Anthony at least one more time! :D And I think I'm def gonna try to do the lottery one weekday soon when I don't have classes. Hopefully I'll score a front row seat, I would die! lol

Thanks for the advice so far! Anymore advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

To get the seats up front you have to show up to the theatre early (not sure if it's 2-3 hours, go to the box office and ask someone for sure) and put your name in the Lottery drawing and see if your name gets drawn. If it does, then be prepared to pay cash for your tickets (usually $20-25 per ticket) and you have the option to buy 1 or 2 only and you must do it on the spot. Most likely you will have to show ID so that they know it will be you buying and using the tickets, no reselling.

good luck!

ok... first of all... Rent is AMAZING!!!!!! So are anthony and adam. i saw them on august fourth, both shows. the stage door your looking for is on the side of the theater. when u see the show, and exit the theater, there'll be a big mob of people so that'll be the place. lol. if you want seats in the first few rows, yr best bet is to lotto. most of the good seats'll be sold out until after anthony and adam leave. we got row four for one of the shows, and the view was amazing, but iv seen it several times in the neder, and iv sat in many a seat. i really dont think there's a seat in that theater where u can't well see the stage. now, as for the stage door after the show. if u want to get up colse to the barcades, u better leave early. iv read articles and posts on websites in wtich people left before your eyes to get out to the stage door. personally, id much rather see the rest of the show then get to the stage door, but ya know...

we got out right after the show ended. (i was there with som pretty obsessive people... lol) and it wasent too crowded yet, but id watch your back. anthony and adam each have their mobs of fangirls who will do like, anything to get up colse. it gets pretty crazy. i hope i gave u the info u were looking for, and whenever u get back there, have a GREAT time!!

Moo With Me!!!!!!!!!!

Ps. i dont think i said enugh about this in the post. anthony and adam are amazing. iv never seen such an amazing connection on a stage until i saw them do what you own. any rentheads out there, i highly suggest hightailing it to the neder. lol. they were AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Anthony was just as much a spaz as ever. hes great. and adam... well, adam was adam. he sang glory, and i count look away from the stage. not even blink. its so amazing.

Oh, arent they awesome?! I love them to death!! I'm sure its very crazy since they came back, and its probably near impossible to meet them at the stage door. But good luck anyway!
